Marketplace is Our Missionfield

Your Market Place is Your Mission Field

Everyday we have opportunities to help people and find fulfillment and meaning in our work.  You don’t have to be a missionary or a pastor to make an impact and effect the world.  Think outside of the box.  Lets realize that a very small percentage of people end up being full time ministers and most of us reading this post and entrepreneurs and business owners.  We can still reach people and be a world changer right in our own backyards and businesses.  It’s actually more simple then you may realize. Today’s podcast is entitled, “your marketplace is your mission field.” Click Below to listen in…

What We Are Called To Do

Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Obedience is to Hear, Receive, and Do

Mark 16: 17
17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Who You Are In The Market Place
Mathew 5: 13-15 13 “You are the saMarketplace Is Your Mission Fieldlt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
We Are Co laborers with Christ
John 4:38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

1 Corithinans 3: 5-9 5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Mathew 5 – Eye for Eye
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.‘ 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
