Mr. Miagi Master Mind Control …

A few years ago I was at a real estate seminar and it was pretty funny that they brought up a guy who was a hypnotist. He actually made a guy quack like a duck! Pretty Wild. The point of it was your mind is really the key that controls your future. When I first got started in the industry my mind was all messed up. I came up with every excuse for myself not be successful. Even things that didn’t make sense like, my dad didn’t go to my little leauge game so he must not love me which means i cant be successful or i have to do what he wants to make him happy. Like that doesn’t even make sense lol, my dad had to work and thats it.

Your mindset is what dictates your outcome. Do you think Lance Armstrong was going to win the Tour De France if he always told himself he couldn’t!? When the doctor told Lance Armstrong that he had cancer and would never ride again his response was, “this disease picked the wrong dam body.” Don’t you love that!?

How Do You Control The Mind?

The most simple way to control the mind is to predetemine your response to a situation.  Sounds kind of weird huh?  If you start your day stub your toe and curse it thats a bad start and you just set your tone for the day.  If you hop out of bed and say something positive like, “this is the day that the lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it,” or whatever you are going to have an awesome day.  IF your attitude is positive even when going into negative situation the reaction/response from others will be quite different.  The world is not out to get you lol some things just happen because they happen and thats life.  We tend to read into situations create stories in our heads of what happened and then attach some meaning or assumption to it that may not even make sense.  Change my attitude please.  People can see something different in you, I often time get asked “Ron, why are you so happy.” This is an opportunity to share what you do for a living.  People follow people and you must be a positive attractive personality person for people to follow you.

Great post Ron! When people ask me “How are you today?” I always say “I’ve never had a bad day in my life!” They are like WOW that is great, what a positive attitude. I will have to remember that! Well, any day you wake up alive and kicking sure can’t be a bad one! And I can honestly say that being an eight year Cancer survivor. Everyday is Awesome for me Ron.

    Make today count…

    Best regards,
    Scott

    Gidday Ron

Making the decision to take control means making many sacrifices. Friends and sometimes family take the back seat for a while so it’d no wonder it is a hard decision for many. We are conditioned to think in a certain way and to go against the tide of feeling can be punishing. But the rewards can be many if not just the freedom to think for yourself.

Great motivation for stepping forward and leave the comfort zone.

    Thanks Ron
    Dennis
